All H&H personnel are “on-track
safety/roadway worker protection” trained in compliance with FRA regulations
Over time, ties and rail wear, the track moves out
of alignment and degrades. H & H has experienced crews to rehabilitate
track.
Outdated or light rail tracks can also be upgraded to accommodate today’s
longer and heavier locomotives and rail cars.
Look to H&H for either emergency or scheduled
track rehabilitation as well as track expansion and upgrade, including:
- Rail changeout gangs which can replace or transpose rail, install ribbon or bolted rail and repair worn bolts at track joints
- Tie gangs with production tie changeout equipment
- Surfacing gangs with production tamper and regulators and laser/infrared
equipment
- Recondition or replace turnouts, switchpoints and frogs
- Crossing rehabilitation
- Tightening and replacing track bolts; building up mismatched rail
ends by welding, and profile grinding the railheads
- Track geometry, rail and strength testing
- UT rail testing
